Aggregate is one of the primary materials recovered through EcoVac's hydrovac slurry recycling process.
At our Etobicoke facility, stone and aggregate are separated from incoming non-hazardous hydrovac slurry and processed into a clean, usable material. Rather than remaining part of a mixed waste stream, the recovered aggregate can be put back into circulation for appropriate construction and reuse applications.
From Hydrovac Slurry to Recovered Aggregate
Hydrovac slurry contains more than water and soil. It also contains stone and aggregate that still have value.
EcoVac's separation process recovers this material as its own distinct stream. The recovered aggregate is carefully processed and managed to provide a consistent material suitable for applicable reuse opportunities.

This is part of EcoVac's larger circular approach to hydrovac material: recover what can be used again and reduce the amount of material treated solely as waste.
